In January 2021, the Town of Penetanguishene finalized an agreement to purchase the 13-acre property at 51 Dunlop St. – the site of the former Penetanguishene Secondary School – from the Simcoe County District School Board. 

The End of an Era is a documentary that celebrates the life and times spent at PSS High School from the perspective of a former teacher and students, and how the news of its demolition impacted the community.
